"Immensely grateful to have found Studio Sprig where exquisite and unexpected flower combinations are artfully paired...we adored Sofia's fragrant and fresh prom posy of purple anemone, cream ranunculus, blue star amsonia, and rosemary...all locally grown...collaborating with Kim Bensing has been a true pleasure from start to finish...shop local, shop Studio Sprig." - Lisa Lapeire, Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Grow. Here at Studio Sprig on the grounds of Windy Hill, in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a super strong commitment to our environment and its preservation, propels us. That is why we do our very best, to source from our local consortium of sustainable, environmentally conscious flower growers, but to also grow & harvest as much as we can here on the "Hill". We always choose eco-friendly local, or domestic -when nature requires-, to take a stand against poor non-domestic labor practices and the extensive use of harmful chemicals, only used to keep your flowers alive on a long long journey. All this completely unnecessary when your beautiful flowers come from only a few miles away.
To keep things creative, we also hand-cut and design all of our own kraft paper wraps and ribbons so that each bouquet, posy and centerpiece is extra sweet, we never use floral foam because it’s soaked in formaldehyde, plus around here, no paintbrush or scrap of fabric ever goes unused. We compost all of our organic unused waste. We also call upon all of our friends and neighbors to upcycle all of their gorgeous glass and metal jars and vases which we creatively turn into our trademark ‘Fairy Jars’ at market. And in the cold winter months we love to search the vintage & antique shops for interesting and recycled vessels with friends. This not only helps our earth, but gives our team of eager upcyclers a helpful discount on future flowers.
Look for our brand new “They grew us” cards, designed in studio, highlight exactly where and how your flowers were grown. Our hope is that you will develop a relationship with these flower stewards, and learn and cherish how they are all trying to help our precious earth by growing something beautiful.
In addition, we’ve even committed to upcycling the grounds around little Studio Sprig called Windy Hill. We are continuously in the process of lovingly restyling the nineteenth century farmhouse, green barn and various outbuildings. Last fall we decided to aggressively prune and revive the great variety of shrubs, trees and the gardens we’ve inherited.
